Triple M Sportsmans Charity Lunch – Nerang RSL

WORDS: Triple M PHOTOGRAPHY Brian Usher - www.usherusher.com

Last year Bridge and Spida met a very special lady by the name of Angela who had been diagnosed with Terminal Cancer. Bridge and Spida helped to fulfill one of her dreams of being on the radio and were blown away by the positivity and hilarious nature of Angela.

Unfortunately, two days before Christmas, Angela passed away, leaving behind her two children. Triple M learnt that Angela’s two children had been taken in by Angela’s sister Reina who also had 3 children of her own and was looking after her elderly mother. Reina, a single parent is now caring for the 5 children and her mother in a two bedroom house. After learning of Reina’s circumstances, Triple M and Gold Coast Community Fund wanted to help ease the burden of losing such an incredible mother, sister and daughter that was Angela.

To do so, we contacted our mates at Nerang RSL to help us put on 92.5 Triple M’s Sportsman’s Luncheon on Friday February 19th! The Gold Coast Community Fund are supporting the Luncheon and have already donated an incredible $2000!

Join Bridge, Spida and Flan at Nerang RSL as you hear tales from some of sports living legends! :
