The trailer for hilarious Aussie comedy THE NUT FARM has been revealed ahead of its national cinema release on 14 March, 2024.

Australia’s favourite American comedian, Arj Barker, stars in his first role in a feature film as a San Francisco crypto-trading fish out of water in rural NSW. THE NUT FARM also stars Madeline West, Tiriel Mora, Jonno Roberts and Roy Billing.

THE NUT FARM is a family comedy, inspired by Northern NSW communities and their fight against gas fracking and was directed by Scott Corfield (Don’t Tell).

Synopsis: San Francisco-based crypto trader Brendan Brandon (Arj Barker) loses everything when his investments collapse, but an opportunity presents itself when his missing uncle (Roy Billing) gifts him the family’s macadamia nut farm in the small Australian town of Cobweb. Faced with an unexpected legal caveat and some evil New Zealander gas frackers, Brendan soon realises that a quick sale of the old farm might not be as easy as he’d hoped.

Bonsai Films will distribute the film in Australia and New Zealand from 14 March 2024.
