GemLife’s split-level homes offer a luxe level-up for over-50s living on the Gold Coast.

WHEN nothing but the best will do … GemLife Gold Coast’s luxe new split-level homes have been custom designed to capture superb views from the over-50s lifestyle resort’s unique elevated site.

GemLife manager of interior design Jennifer Kyle says the split-level designs, the 342sqm Aruma and the 351sqm Vantage, offer a sense of openness and space with exclusive, luxury standard inclusions and designer finishes.

“The homes have been architecturally designed to optimise the exceptional views, fresh breezes and natural light,” Jennifer says. “They are sure to appeal to discerning buyers looking for something truly special.”

Jennifer says people who love to entertain will be impressed by the homes’ two outdoor entertainment areas on the upper and lower levels and their alfresco kitchens.

“They will also appreciate the built-in bar areas and wine fridge inside the homes. Both designs have master bedroom suites on each level, which gives the option for dual living and privacy when guests are staying,” she says.

The stylish, two-bedroom plus multi-purpose room home designs feature open-plan living areas, ultra-high ceilings, large rear yards with separate alfresco areas, louvered shade systems, generously sized balconies and designer kitchens with European appliances.

Jennifer says the split-level homes have the option of stairs or contemporary elevators and offer multiple facade and colour-scheme choices.

“The homes will also boast smart-tech home automation for the lights and fans and will also have WiFi-enabled, remote-controlled garage doors,” she says.

Located in Stage One, there are premium home sites available. Homes start at $1.2 million.

The home designs are 7-star energy rated and within walking distance of the resort’s future country club.

Resort-style facilities

Set in the Gold Coast’s Pimpama area on a 46-hectare site that captures city skyline and mountain views, the resort will be the city’s largest of its kind, with a suite of luxury facilities including a sprawling country club, rooftop infinity-edge pool, bowling alley, cinema, wine lounge and virtual golf.

The resort will also boast an outdoor recreational precinct and wellness centre with a lagoon-style pool, outdoor yoga and indoor pilates studio and an origami-inspired pavilion set atop its highest point to capture 180-degree views across the coastline

Fitness, wellness, relaxation and recreation amenities have been designed for today’s increasingly active and healthy over-50s.

Taking centre stage at the resort will be a stunning, architecturally designed country club.

GemLife Gold Coast sales manager Ashleigh Murtagh says residents will be able to unwind and breathe in the fresh air from a poolside cabana, relax with friends in the wine lounge or work up a sweat in the fitness centre.

“When entering the lobby, visitors will be wowed by the sophisticated design and furnishings, which will include a floor-to-ceiling wine cellar display, a stand-out design feature that doubles as a screen for the wine lounge on the other side,” she says.

“On the ground floor, the building will feature a grand hall with stage, dance floor and a commercial kitchen for functions and events, a bar and lounge, creative studio, library, hair salon, café, undercover balcony area with outdoor lounges and dining areas.”

The next level will house a fitness centre and health club, including a fully equipped gym, yoga studio, indoor lap pool, spa and sauna. This floor will also be home to a large lounge and games room with a golf simulator and a stand-out feature Sky Lounge – a circular room made of glass, with 180-degree views towards the Gold Coast skyline, making it the perfect spot for residents to get cosy around a central fireplace during the cooler months.

“The star feature will unquestionably be the stunning infinity-edge pool on the upper-level terrace, with its sunken conversation lounges, semi-submerged sun-loungers and inviting poolside cabanas,” Ashleigh says.

Amenities on the lower level will include a four-lane 10-pin bowling alley, residents’ workshop, boutique cinema and six-rink lawn bowls greens.

GemLife Gold Coast will comprise 365 homes delivered in stages over more than three years.
