One of the largest residential apartment towers ever launched on the Gold Coast, the $1.2 billion Spirit in the heart of Surfers Paradise, was officially launched to the global market on July 6. The 89-level Spirit super tower, being developed by Foriseland was opened with attendance from key political figures such as Federal Trade, Tourism and Investment Minister the Honourable Steven Ciobo MP, State Tourism and Minister the Honourable Kate Jones MP, Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate and Tourism Australia Chairman Bob East.
