Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal Breakfast
WORDS: PHOTOGRAPHY
Tama Wilson shared his life story with 300 guests at this years’ Salvation Army Breakfast driving home the great work that the Salvo’s are doing right here on the Gold Coast. Usually content to donate without fanfare, corporate donors came forward this year to highlight the importance of philanthropy, both corporate and personal, with the aim of encouraging others in a position to assist to donate money, goods and time where they can. Co-chair of Australia’s construction giant, ADCO, Judith Brinsmead, and associate director, Tom Hill, this year pledged $60,000 – the largest corporate donation. The total donation from this years’ breakfast was $454,000.
