Launch of Artisan Cocktail Bar FINEPRINTCO Art Bar – Putting the ART in mARTini

This month, the Gold Coast will see the opening of the FINEPRINTCO Art Bar, a cocktail bar that combines the creativity of handcrafted cocktails with the opportunity to shop for fine art.

The unique establishment is set to become a popular spot for Gold Coast locals and tourists alike who appreciate expertly crafted artisanal cocktails and beautiful artwork.

Located in Southport’s Brickworks, the FINEPRINTCO Art Bar is the brainchild of Gold Coast locals Leanne Pearce and Jasmine Smith who established the FINEPRINTCO brand in 1995. The pair are behind interior styling institutions St Barts and Gallery One, also located at the Brickworks.

Leanne Pearce said the FINEPRINTCO team is excited to launch its latest venture on the Gold Coast in what will offer an upmarket, unique experience tailored to a currently untapped market.

“We wanted the FINEPRINTCO Art Bar to offer a unique and vibrant space, combining art and hospitality,where guests can admire classic and contemporary art with a cocktail in hand,” said Leanne.

“The space was designed to challenge the notion of a traditional art gallery. It is an elegant and sophisticated space that showcases the work of some of Australia’s most prominent and emerging artists.”

In addition to local artists on display, FINEPRINTCO holds the exclusive distribution rights across Australia and New Zealand for the Slim Aarons range, including the iconic poolside prints and European collections.

As a former manager of some of Sydney’s most prestigious cocktail bars, Mixologist of FINEPRINTCO Art Bar, Rumtin Nouzat was immediately intrigued by the concept of a venue that seamlessly blended fine art with high-quality beverages. After learning more about the space and its philosophy, he knew he had to be part of it.

“There really is nothing quite like it on the Gold Coast. With cocktails like ‘Life in the Bahamas’ and ‘Eye of the Beholder’, it pays tribute to some of Slim Aarons’ most iconic photographs,” said Rumtin.

“FINEPRINT CO Art Bar is a cocktail bar with a twist, putting the art in mARTini, and I’m honoured to be bringing my expertise to this project.”

Rumtin has carefully designed a menu with extensive European inspired cocktails, unique to anything the Gold Coast has seen. Rumtin will work with guests to create beverages tailored to their unique tastes and palettes, offering refined and personalised service for guests.

FINEPRINT CO Art Bar will host a series of events and workshops including cocktail making masterclasses, Wednesday wine and cheese pairings and Saturday gin and tonic tasting boards.

The Art Bar is ideal for sophisticated, intimate events and will capture young professionals, couples looking for a unique date night, and art enthusiasts alike. The space is open Wednesday to Saturday, 1pm – 9pm and is available for hire outside these hours for private functions.
