A true lover of the punt, my guest for the day, Craig ‘The Cossack’ Rice, asked me where he could place a bet the moment he walked into the Land Rover VIP marquee. After I explained that he could not really bet on the polo, I suggested option B was to watch the polo, enjoy the marquee, enjoy the quality champagne and canapés, and soak up the atmosphere that is Polo in the City. I think he quickly realised this was quality advice!
