The iconic Broadbeach property is also building on its already-extensive events and conference portfolio with the opening of Isoletto Privé, a dedicated event space complete with a sprawling lawn, deck and terrace, available for corporate functions, private celebrations and weddings.
The Star Gold Coast Chief Operating Officer, Jessica Mellor says the property has built an undeniable reputation as a prime destination to stay and play, with the latest dining and events offering further showcasing The Star’s dedication to delivering a leading leisure and entertainment destination.
“We are incredibly excited to unveil a suite of poolside spaces that open the doors to a whole new world of possibilities here at The Star,” says Ms Mellor.
“The launch of the Isoletto Pool Club and Isoletto Privé event spaces is the perfect example of our commitment to helping the Gold Coast remain one of Australia’s leading tourism and entertainment destinations for leisure and corporate travellers alike. Whether they are looking for a new sun-kissed space to relax and recharge, or to create an unforgettable event, I’m excited for our guests to experience all The Star Gold Coast has to offer from a brand-new vantage point.”
Isoletto Pool Club
Combining fresh, local produce and a coastal sensibility, the Isoletto Pool Club is the perfect spot to indulge in a delicious tropical cocktail or savour a snack after a day by the pool.
Offering the option of indoor and outdoor seating, the casual dining experience will serve up a range of light dishes including freshly rolled sushi, locally sourced oysters with mignonette dressing and California Prawn Cocktail with avocado and dill. A crispy fried snapper burger and grilled chicken BLT lead the sustainable
mains menu, and, for a cooling treat, there’s also nourish bowls, acai bowls and artisanal gelato flavours to choose from.
Guests can look forward to a colourful cocktail menu with drinks such as the Giulietta, a sweet and sour concoction with gin, Aperol and Pavan grape and orange blossom liqueur, as well as the Green Cove with white rum, orange bitters and mint. There is a wide selection of craft and premium beers available too, as well
as a thoughtful wine list featuring fine local and international drops. Those looking to relax on the deck can also opt for one of the indulgent poolside packages designed for larger groups which include a bottle of champagne, signature cocktails, seasonal fruit platters and complimentary sunscreen.
Award-winning Brisbane architecture and interior design practice, Plus Architecture took inspiration from the natural beauty of the Gold Coast for the design of Isoletto, which marries an organic neutral palette with pops of bright lemon and melon in its furnishing to create a space that both unwinds and refreshes. Subtle injections of sun rays and a front-row view of the impressive pool add to the experience reminiscent of the venue’s coastal paradise.
The Isoletto Pool Club will be exclusive to all hotel guests within The Star’s resort, including The Star Grand, The Darling, Dorsett Gold Coast and The Star Residences; apartments in the upper levels of The Star’s new 53-storey tower offering short-term stays, long-term rentals and permanent residency from June 2022.
