Leading property group Highland has been appointed as exclusive selling agent for one of the most prestigious luxury apartment projects in Australia, the $250 million Masthead Ocean Club at Main Beach.

In a major coup for Highland, joint venture partners Rory O’Brien, a highly credentialled Australian businessman, and UK-based Banda, a leading global interior design studio and development business founded by Edo Mapelli Mozzi, have enlisted Highland to present their landmark development to the market.

It follows Highland’s huge success at the nearby Coast development in Surfers Paradise, where pre-sales have topped 80 per cent.

Masthead Ocean Club will deliver a collection of 28 full-floor boutique-style apartments including five Sky Residences, two dual level sky homes and a sprawling super penthouse in a stunning design that offers residents a seven-star resort experience and ultra-luxe amenities.

The ultra-luxe sky homes will offer 634sqm of sophisticated living spaces each while the penthouse will span 1,000sqm with its own pool, gym and golf putting green. A private owner’s study will be located in the ‘crow’s nest’ at the very peak of Masthead Ocean Club.

Designed for the most discerning buyers, each residence will capture sweeping, protected views of the Pacific Ocean, Broadwater and Hinterland.

“Masthead Ocean Club will offer residents the pinnacle of a premium lifestyle that will appeal to local, interstate and international buyers,” said Highland director David Highland.

“Our team is thrilled to be appointed as exclusive selling agent for arguably the most exclusive residential offering available in Australia.”

Designed by leading Queensland firm BDA Architecture with interiors crafted by Banda Design Studio and MIM Design, Masthead Ocean Club will set a new benchmark for Gold Coast residential lifestyle.

Residents will have access to four levels of ocean club amenities including a wellness zone, hot and cold pools, whiskey and champagne bars, wine storage, tasting area, library, fully equipped chef’s kitchen and indoor and outdoor lounge areas.

Positioned at the very northern end of Main Beach, Masthead Ocean Club offers easy access to the Southport Yacht Club, Southport Broadwater, nearby beaches, the Southport Surf Lifesaving Club and the renowned Tedder Avenue shopping and dining village.

Highland is a full-service real estate company with more than 40 projects currently in market along the eastern seaboard from southern Sydney to the Gold Coast.

The real estate group has grown its footprint last year through a merger with Bill and David Malouf, the most experience prestige real estate professionals in Australia, opening a new Double Bay office and expanding their buyer network to the eastern suburbs.

“Highland was an obvious choice to lead the sales and marketing program for Masthead due to their network of interstate buyers and the aligned synergies and long-standing business relationship with Bill Malouf,” said Rory O’Brien.

Construction of Masthead Ocean Club is expected to begin in 2023 with completion scheduled for 2025.
