Queensland Ballet (QB) will hold its annual Giving Day from 7pm on Thursday 24 June, asking supporters to Come together for Queensland Ballet and raise vital funds to support its vision to enrich the lives of as many people as possible through the magic of ballet.
For 24 hours, every donation will be quadrupled thanks to generous match donors. $10 becomes $40, $100 becomes $400 and $10,000 becomes $40,000.
Artistic Director Li Cunxin AO said such grand dreams would not be possible without supporters, donors, corporate partners and Governments - State, Federal and Local.
“At the end of this financial year, if you believe in Queensland Ballet and our vision to enrich as many lives as possible through performance, touring, training, community initiatives and all that we do, please consider supporting us. Our responsibility is huge: we employ dancers, dance teachers, artists, arts workers, creatives, backstage crew and countless enablers – all coming together to create the magic of ballet. We work hard to achieve the impossible. Please help us get there,” he said.

Giving Day runs from 7pm on June 24th to 7pm on June 25, all donations will be quadrupled during this time or until the match funding runs out.
