Women in Tourism August Industry Breakfast and AGM.

Some of tourism’s finest met at the JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort for the inauguration of the 2024/25 WIT Committee hosted by radio personality Lara Rae Boath.
The official announcement will soon be released but we can name the new President Allison Forner, Vice President, Cassie Cox and Treasurer, Diana Brittain who were congratulated by outgoing President, Nicole Alder.
Once the formalities of the AGM concluded, members and guests were treated by Josephine Tobias, President of the Gold Coast Show Society to the history and delights of the upcoming Gold Coast Show, from show paraphernalia to hats, gifts, fairy floss and nostalgia.
The Gold Coast show is held in the last week of August.
