A High Tea with Heart

Grace, confidence and community were in full bloom at the Women in Tourism High-Profile High Tea at the stunning Austinvilla Estate. Guests came together for an afternoon of inspiration, indulging in an exquisite high tea while gaining invaluable insights on leadership, confidence and style from Erin Pickering (Holystone) and Jasmine Grace (Austinvilla Estate). With the ever-engaging Bella Frizza as host, the room was filled with laughter, wisdom, and meaningful connections.

We were especially honoured to welcome Jann Stuckey, who bravely shared her journey and battle with pancreatic cancer. A dedicated supporter of Women in Tourism since the 1990s, Jann has shaped Queensland’s tourism landscape as former Minister for Tourism and Major Events, Small Business and the Commonwealth Games. Today, she continues her legacy—not only as an Ambassador for the National Trust Queensland but also as a fierce advocate for those facing less common cancers, proudly embracing the title of Cancer Warrior.

More than just an elegant afternoon, this event was about giving back. Thanks to the generosity of our attendees, over $1,550 was raised for the Pancare Foundation, supporting life-changing research and care for those affected by pancreatic and upper gastrointestinal cancers.
