Wolf & Whistle Launch Active Wear Made from Plastic Bottles

Shopping sustainably has been a key shopping trend for 2020, with consumers looking to buy products that are better for the planet and help reduce the harming effects that the fashion industry has on the environment. Plus, searches over the past week have seen the term ‘Sports Bra’ increase 58% and ‘Gym Leggings’ increase by 52% as gyms begin to reopen and we look forward toward the ‘New Year New Me’ trend of the new year.

With this in mind Wolf & Whistle from Playful Promises decided that with their new Activewear collection, they would try and make a product that not only looks and feels great but also is eco-friendly as well. Their new Eco Activewear range features modern staples perfect for the going to the gym or working out from the comfort of your home.

As part of their commitment to ethical manufacturing, they are using Repreve – plastic bottles recycled into performance fabrics. Repreve have recycled over 10 billion plastic bottles, and we are using their recycled polyester on their fab new activewear collection. Using recycled fabric also means less contribution to greenhouse gases, and conserves water and energy during our manufacturing process.
