WANNA BE IN A BAND?

WORDS: Ian Grace PHOTOGRAPHY Supplied

Curtain call at the end of another successful program!

All these young musicians started as groups of strangers, formed into bands and in just 8 weeks, our amazing Mentors have turned them into absolute rock stars!

The voluntary Youth Music Venture Charity has been doing this now since 2009, totally FREE, with around 800 kids through the life changing program to date.

So if you are 11-17 years of age and can play a bit of music, now is the time to join in for the next program commencing Wednesday 7th of October At the Gold Coast airport rehearsal rooms and culminating in the showcase concert at the Currumbin RSL on the 29th of November!

Veterans also! For 4 years now a similar program has run for Veterans in tandem and at the concert there will be 4 kids’ bands and 1 Veterans band playing.

So, check the Flyers then go straight to youthmusicventure.com.au and register for the experience of a lifetime!
