TONI&GUY Broadbeach Joins The GHD Style Squad!

Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to enter an Australia/New Zealand competition run by ghd. Known for supporting hair professionals, ghd runs an annual initiative called the Style Squad. Each year, hairstylists are invited to submit a 90-second “how-to” video showcasing their skills, with just five spots available on the team. Out of more than 100 entries, I was thrilled to be selected as one of this year’s members.

The 18-month program launched in Sydney at ghd’s Artistic Conference. Our team was immersed in the brand, receiving in-depth product knowledge across their entire range. The experience wasn’t all work, though—after a packed day of learning, we celebrated with cocktails and a delicious dinner at Chin Chin. On the final day, we stepped in front of the camera for professional headshots and video content, while also getting a sneak peek at a revolutionary new product set to launch next year—something I can confidently say will change the game.

Learning about how new Chronos technology will smooth the hair 3 times faster with 50% more shine and better hold for frizz free curls that clients can do at home themselves was so great.

Sydney was just the beginning.
