The construction of 71 on Garfield by leading development and hospitality group Iris Capital is set to herald an unprecedented new era in oceanfront living.

Coming soon to the market in the coming weeks, 71 on Garfield promises to set a new standard for the beachfront as the first luxury apartment tower since completion of the Jewel Residences and Langham Hotel in 2020.

Rising 41 levels above the golden sands and glistening Pacific, the $320 million project will comprise 52 apartments of no more than two per floor to provide residents with maximum space and ocean vistas.

It will feature facilities including an elevated oceanfront swimming pool and spa, beachfront gymnasium, yoga room, residents’ dining and lounge, and a spectacular lobby.

71 on Garfield will also have direct laneway access to the Gold Coast Oceanway and Surfers Paradise beach, as well as surfboard storage.

The sleek tower will offer a range of two and three-bedroom apartments, two-level Sky Homes and a jaw-dropping three-level, 913sqm penthouse with five bedrooms, its own private swimming pool and four car spaces.

71 on Garfield has been designed by acclaimed architects DBI, the firm also responsible for V&A, Iris Capital’s landmark two-tower lifestyle sister development under construction at Broadbeach.

The development of both 71 on Garfield and V&A represents a massive vote of confidence in the future of the Gold Coast by Iris Capital, headed by billionaire Sam Arnaout. Established in 1995, Sydney-based Iris has established an impressive portfolio of developments, hospitality and gaming assets including apartment projects in Sydney and Newcastle, Ibis hotels in NSW, Queensland and Victoria, pubs including Manly’s iconic Hotel Steyne and the Canberra and Alice Springs casinos.

Construction of 71 on Garfield is expected to begin in early November.
