The Pink Flamingo’s all-female spectacular – “LUST”

The famed Crazy Horse cabaret club vibe in Paris is about to hit the Gold Coast in what promises to be the most sizzling, hot show the city has ever seen.
The Pink Flamingo’s all-female spectacular LUST will marry the Parisian glamour of the Moulin Rouge and the risqué appeal of the Crazy Horse cabaret club to amplify the Gold Coast’s seductive chutzpah.
LUST consists of a series of highly aesthetic scenes by a cast of eight stunningly beautiful and classically trained dancers clad only in textured lighting, projection, and costume that leave little to the imagination. The result is a unique show that engages the mind as much as the eye!
When Alain Bernardin, an artist and ardent admirer of women, founded the Crazy Horse in Paris in 1951, a single-minded obsession drove him. Women should be the body and soul of his cabaret, but creation and creativity should be at its heart.
Sharing this mindset that has always been the raison d’être for the Crazy Horse hotspot of Parisian nightlife, the Gold Coast’s Pink Flamingo Co-Director Sue Porrett is also on a mission is to celebrate and empower women: “Since its inception, the Pink Flamingo has built an impeccable reputation for presenting women in a sensual but sophisticated way. This rich artistic legacy will be iconic to the coast, recognized internationally, especially among artists and creators”, said Ms. Porrett.

Preserving cabaret’s artistic heritage while adding a touch of modernity and sophistication, LUST will consist of distinct choreographed acts, provocative art, and entertainment, “a kaleidoscope of beauty, grace, passion, and precision” Ms. Porrett said.

Chic and glamorous as the spectacle of the famous Parisian cabaret, LUST will be a must-do experience if you’re over 18 and visiting the Gold Coast. This late-night experience is the perfect date night entrée before resident DJs take over the decks to keep the fire burning into the evening.
“Our vision is to create iconic shows that shape our city and become bucket list editions for visitors. Driving tourism, we believe The Pink Flamingo will become synonymous with the destination Gold Coast. When you think of the coast, you think of the flamingo. We want travellers to see our shows as must-do experiences, as you do in Paris when you tick the Crazy Horse and Moulin Rouge shows off your list,” said Ms. Porrett.
Join us as the Pink Flamingo showgirls give Gold Coast media a taste of their new show LUST on April 29th at 11 AM at Corner of 88 Surf Parade &, Victoria Ave, Broadbeach QLD 4218.
