Metricon’s latest Signature home elevates contemporary Australian living with sculptural design, refined detail and effortless functionality.
The long awaited Catalina display is now open for viewing on the Isle of Capri, representing the pinnacle of luxurious home living from Australia’s No.1 Home Builder. The new Signature by Metricon home redefines contemporary Australian luxury with a focus on proportion, light, and how people live today. Anchored in a Modern European style, the design combines clean sculptural lines with subtle softness, resulting in a home that feels refined, welcoming, and highly liveable.

“The Catalina is designed to be experienced as much as admired,” says Adrian Popple, Metricon’s National Design Director. “It’s calm, cohesive, and reveals its character through light, texture, and thoughtful detailing.” Its façade embodies quiet luxury, with integrated planters and shadowed details that create depth without extravagance. Inside, the home feels open yet intimate. Three double-height voids allow natural light to flow across both levels, creating a changing atmosphere throughout the day, soft in the morning, warm in the afternoon, and tranquil in the evening.
At the heart of the home, a sculptural staircase connects the levels with ease, echoing arched windows and rounded walkways to create visual continuity. Living, dining, and kitchen areas flow seamlessly into outdoor entertaining spaces, embracing the Australian love of indoor-outdoor living.

“We think carefully about everyday rhythms, where families gather, where privacy is needed, and how spaces can support both activity and rest. The Catalina captures that balance beautifully,” Popple adds. Offered in two layouts, the Catalina 64 and Catalina 54, the design suits different lifestyles while maintaining consistency in style and functionality. Each home features five bedrooms with ensuites and walk-in robes, multiple living areas, and generous kitchens anchored by a butler’s pantry, ideal for cooking and entertaining.

Behind the Catalina is Metricon’s decade long status as Australia’s largest home builder and fifty years in business. Its Signature collection reflects this expertise, combining precision craftsmanship with design that prioritises proportion, texture, and lifestyle. “Metricon always focuses on great design. Our Signature range takes that even further, pushing the boundaries of what volume builders generally deliver, creating homes that feel personal, considered, and finely tuned to the people who live in them,” Popple says.
