This year’s event celebrated the 15th Birthday of the Swell Sculpture Festival. “People. Art. Place” was this year’s tag line to celebrate 15 years of an event that has helped to put the Art of Sculpture front and centre as part of the Gold Coast’s ever growing art scene. This year’s event enjoyed perfect weather and big crowds. Winners included “These Hands” by Michael Van Dam, “The Huntress” by Sean Williams, “Migaloo’s Song” by Guy Cooper and “The Crab” by Joy Heylen.
