As always, the guest speakers at the TSS breakfast are of the highest order. OAM Curtis McGrath did not disappoint. Curtis lost his legs while a combat engineer for the Australian Army. Rather than allowing this to ruin his life, Curtis has embraced his newfound artificial legs and become a world champion athlete, including multiple wins in the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships from 2016–19, along with a gold medal at the 2016 Paralympics in the KL2 paracanoe event in Brazil. An amazing story of how Curtis has created a wonderful life beyond the warzone.
