Having happily settled into its new Mudgeeraba location for the last year, Thai Mudgee, has developed an excellent reputation for being the most authentic Thai on the Gold Coast.

Now, to make the most of the view from the upstairs of the location, owners have opened Balcony 69 Café and Restaurant for breakfast Wednesday-Sunday.

Make the most of the peaceful, relaxing setting as you sit and take in views of the local park and beautiful Hinterland views.

Park your car and walk upstairs to the upmarket balcony restaurant, which offers first-class quality food at affordable prices. The mood here is tranquil and serene, making you immediately snap into a more relaxed frame of mind.

On the menu is a mixture of Thai and Western cuisine.

Balcony 69 Café and Restaurant Manager, Renee Reimer tells ORM, “Thai omelettes have been incredibly popular. These are egg-based omelettes wrapped around a serving of Thai pork mince with fresh herbs grown in our in-house garden. We also do more traditional breakfasts like eggs benedict and simple but tasty Thai fruit salad. We offer all day breakfast, or after 11am, you can choose from our lunch menu that incorporates some dishes from the Thai Mudgee restaurant downstairs. Thai green chicken curry is popular, cashew nut stir-fry and pork burger with a Thai twist are favourites. This has a layer of stick rice on top. Or, you can choose sweet potato chips, hot chips or something more simple.”

The peaceful, tranquil setting is perfect for a birthday or special occasion.
