SYDNEY based luxury developer Sammut Developments has submitted a development application with Gold Coast City Council for the construction of its landmark 35-level residential project which is set to be an icon for the city.

In its first move after a stellar 30-year career shaping southern Sydney centred around Cronulla, Sammut plans to bring first class-luxury to a collection of 49 luxury residences to the Surfers Paradise coastline.

If approved, Coast, located on 43 Garfield Terrace, will include 36 half floor villas, 2 double storey sky homes, 10 full floor sub penthouses and an opulent penthouse spanning 3 levels, offering over 1000 square metres of luxury living and featuring a private rooftop pool and amenities.

Allen Sammut, Director of Sammut Developments, has planned for Coast to become one of a kind in the sunshine state market, elevating the obsession of ultimate beach front living.

“We’re planning to create one of the most iconic, high-end luxury apartments the Gold Coast has ever seen,” he said.

“We’re very keen to establish a presence on the Gold Coast, particularly given the strength of the luxury downsizer market. Accordingly, we have worked up plans that we believe will deliver a benchmark for this market anywhere not only on the Gold Coast but anywhere in Australia,” said Mr Sammut.

A stone’s throw away from the water’s edge, Coast is set to deliver an unmatched sense of luxury to the Gold Coast with the addition of ultimate lifestyle amenities including a wrap-around wet edge pool with views that stretch across the iconic coastline, stunning sky gardens, beachfront entertainment rooms and bbq spaces all laid out in front of a Surf Life Saving patrolled beach.

From one shoreline to another, a long list of high-end beachfront residential developments ensues Sammut’s reputation, with Coast deriving its name from their flagship Cronulla project.

“We began our journey of developing prominent, beachside apartments in Sydney’s idyllic waterside suburb Cronulla over 15 years ago with our renowned ‘Coast’ full floor apartments,

“A testament to our history and beginnings, we felt it was only appropriate to announce and name our first luxury project in Queensland, ‘Coast’” said Mr Sammut.

Following the success and outstanding quality of some award-winning projects such as Drift, Nautilus, Breeze, Loft and Banc, all completed in the seaside suburb of Cronulla, Sammut’s expansion into Queensland is set to raise the bar for developments to come.

“Coast will bring an unrivalled level of resort-style living right to the shores of Surfers Paradise, packaged in an ultra-luxurious product that has everything you could need to soak up the best facets of the coastal lifestyle from your own home,” said Mr Sammut.

“We have invested a lot of thought and consideration into creating a space that emanates the look and feel of a resort, with our incredible features and concierge service, with the comforts and quality you want from a home.”

In partnership with Sammut, Alceon Group is a Sydney-based investment group and is one of Australia’s largest non-bank providers of development finance, having invested over $4 billion across real estate, private equity/credit, and listed equities investment strategies.

Todd Pepper, Executive Director of Alceon QLD said the company was looking forward to delivering a high-end residential precinct that met the strength of the luxury downsizer market.

“We are thrilled to be working with Sammut Developments and believe Coast will set a new benchmark and create a truly unique boutique luxury residential experience,” said Mr Pepper.

With Queensland fixated in Sammut’s sights, we await in anticipation for the approval of their unique expression of luxury and sophistication in the sunshine state.
