Rodenbach Fruitage, the new cherry beer for the summer
WORDS: Richard Figuera PHOTOGRAPHY Supplied
The iconic Belgian brewery, Rodenbach, has launched its latest cherry flavoured beer, Fruitage, in Australia. This traditionally brewed beer offers an unconventional taste, combining the depth of classic brewing with a refreshingly unique flavour. Fruitage may appear robust, but it’s as refreshing as a cool summer breeze, promising to revitalise Aussie taste buds with its unexpected and delightful fruity notes.
From the heart of West Flanders and ready to be the drink of the summer for Australians, Fruitage by Rodenbach is a striking dark red beer that surprises with its light, refreshing flavour. This 3.9% ABV brew is a harmonious blend of aged ale, young ale, and 7% cherries, crafted from 100% natural ingredients. Utilising mixed fermentation and matured in oak casks, Fruitage delivers a uniquely sweet-sour taste. Conveniently packaged in a 330ml can, it’s perfect for enjoying in any setting.
Fruitage is best enjoyed cold, and in the hot summer days just add ice cubes, a slice of lime, and mint to create the perfect cocktail. This versatile beer pairs wonderfully with red fruits, dark chocolate, and even fresh cheesecake.
Rodenbach Fruitage is available to purchase from Dan Murphy’s and BWS stores nationwide for $17 for a four pack or $84.99 for a case.
