There is always something happening at Odyssey Lifestyle Care Communities. From glittering celebrations where residents gather with their families, to events that invite locals to experience the warmth and energy of the community, to the exciting momentum of new locations on the horizon, Odyssey has become synonymous with vibrancy and progress.

With its unique and signature blend of lifestyle, care, and community, Odyssey is redefining what it means to age well in Australia. Focussing on a heart centred approach that goes beyond traditional models of aged care, Odyssey provides residents with an experience that feels more like luxury living than aged care. And, with two landmark projects now taking shape, Odyssey is extending its vision even further.

On Chevron Island, Odyssey’s second community is steadily rising. Coming in the first quarter of 2026, Odyssey Chevron Island comprises of 167 apartments across a single 19 storey tower. But the apartments are only a part of the story. Life at Chevron Island will be enriched by a suite of five-star amenities.

Odyssey Founder Phil Usher says from the gourmet restaurant to the pool deck, every amenity has been designed to enhance the sense of community for future residents.

“Living at Odyssey means enjoying an independent lifestyle coupled with upscale amenities and services that feel more like a high-end hotel. From fully appointed one-bedroom apartments to sprawling penthouses with private rooftop decks, this will be senior living of the likes that has never been seen before,” says Mr Usher.

Adding to this momentum, Odyssey has received development approval for a third community in the Gold Coast’s north. Located on a 4,639sqm vacant holding at 8 Marina Quays Boulevard, Odyssey Hope Island will feature sweeping water views, premium amenities and a highly personalised approach to care that covers every stage of later life.

The project will include a combination of 188 one, two, and three bedroom apartments across a 13-level dual tower, with the top floor reserved for a limited collection of penthouses.

Mr Usher says receiving the green light for the Hope Island community is a significant milestone and a positive step forward.

“We’re creating communities where seniors don’t need to compromise, and this builds on what Odyssey has always set out to do, which is to create a brighter future for ageing Australian,” says Mr Usher. “There will be numerous features that will generate excitement and given this location has strong connections to the golfing lifestyle, we’ve incorporated several elements we believe people will be very pleased about.”

From the architectural elegance to the meticulously planned interiors, every element at Odyssey’s communities echoes the refinement and convenience typically found in high-end hotels, meaning that living at Odyssey is an experience in daily luxury.

Odyssey Lifestyle Care Communities have dedicated, professional and qualified care teams on site and at all times, delivering personalised care in comfort and privacy. The Odyssey model is built around a resort-style environment where couples stay together, pets are welcome, grandkids can have sleepovers and most importantly, the dignity, independence and well-being of residents are highly respected.
