Painting for the Oscars – Australian contemporary Artist expanding into International luxury art buying markets

On March 18th, Internationally acclaimed Australian contemporary artist Tracie Eaton, celebrated the release of her new Oscars 2023 collection Shine. This intimate by invitation only exclusive Black Tie event was held in Gold Coast, Australia.
Guests were immersed in an exclusive, elegant and glamorous evening to celebrate the only public reveal of fifteen artworks, a body of work created for the Oscars 2023. This will be the fourth year Tracie Eaton has been involved with gifting celebrities to celebrate their Oscar nomination. Some of the celebrities who received Tracie’s artworks from the Shine collection are Best Actress 2023 winner Michelle Yeoh, Steven Spielberg, Lady Gaga, Cate Blanchett, Jamie Lee Curtis, Michelle Williams, Colin Farrell, Ke Huy Quan, Brendan Fraser, Austin Butler, Brendan Gleeson, Todd Field, Martin McDonagh, Daniel Scheinert and Ana de Armas.
Tracie Eaton was recognised by GAA in 2021 as one of the Leading & Investable Contemporary Artists worldwide and included in their Curated publication for distribution to galleries, collectors, art museums & art fairs around the world. Additionally she was listed by Herrington Publications as one of the top 25 Global Woman Change Makers of the year. Lux Life published Tracie Eaton as the Leading Luxury Art Company – Australia in 2022 and this highly investable artist has been awarded the Leonardo Da Vinci International Artist Award for Outstanding Artistic Merit for her magnificent acrylic & mixed media piece Flowers In Bloom – 2022. Tracie has been recognised by APAC Best Original Painting & Art Studio QLD & Most Creative Australian Arts & Painting Company and Best Acrylic Artist 2023. The waitlist for a Tracie Eaton artwork is currently 12 months and a commissioned piece takes three to six months.
These body of works are created by using mixed media, acrylic, resin, Swarovski crystals and exquisite gold leaf, unequivocally are highly investable pieces for the astute art buyers in the international luxury art investment market. In 2023, Tracie will be expanding into international luxury art buying markets in Dubai, US, Singapore where she will be part of art gallery exhibitions, installations and event productions for new collection release
A known philanthropist who engages in supporting Australian charities, the Shine collection release event did play a part in raising funds for Destiny Rescue, a charity Tracie is an ambassador for. “My art, my creativity , is a vehicle to not only bring joy and beauty into the lives of those who view my work, but to also create change by donating funds from every piece sold, to Destiny Rescue. Destiny Rescue is committed to eradicating sexual exploitation and trafficking of children globally. And I am humbled to be able to help provide them, through art, what they need to continue their work. Every event I do showcases this important organisation as much as it showcases my work. Investment in my art is an investment into a child’s future” says Tracie Eaton.
Tracie Eaton has been an artist for over 15 years. Her self-taught expressive style, combined with her unique understanding of how colour makes us feel (following her training in Occupational Therapy and Colour Psychology) ensures Tracie’s artworks are emotive and passionate. Tracies brush strokes capture moments in time, bringing the essence of the unique moments to life.
