Odyssey Chevron Island officially welcomed residents home

A celebratory opening evening marked the completion of Chevron Island’s newest luxury aged care community on the Gold Coast.

The official opening night of Odyssey Chevron Island was held on 28 May 2026, bringing together guests, project partners, community members and supporters to celebrate the completion of the landmark luxury aged care development. Hosted onsite within the newly completed residence, the evening provided attendees with a first look at the thoughtfully designed lifestyle spaces, premium amenities and contemporary accommodation that will now become home to residents moving into the community.

Developed by Phil Usher, Odyssey Chevron Island was designed to deliver a more elevated and connected approach to aged care living on the Gold Coast. Throughout the evening, guests explored the sophisticated interiors, shared wellness and lifestyle spaces, and beautifully appointed residences that reflect the project’s focus on comfort, dignity and community connection. The atmosphere throughout the event was warm and celebratory, marking an important milestone for both the development team and future residents.

The opening night also symbolised the beginning of a new chapter for Odyssey Chevron Island, with residents scheduled to officially move into the development from today. Positioned in the heart of Chevron Island, the project has already attracted significant interest for its premium design, central location and modern approach to retirement and aged care living, further contributing to the evolving residential landscape of the Gold Coast.
