Chevron Island’s largest and most luxurious penthouse has been sold as Brisbane-based Ention Properties gets set to launch its New York inspired project, Greenwich.

The statement in architectural design instigated a frenzy of enquiry when it was unveiled to the public mere months ago, revealing a high-rise style never before seen on the Gold Coast, inspired by Manhattan’s famous Flatiron building.

A Chevron Island local has made an extraordinary purchase of Greenwich’s two top floor apartments, merging them into his very own sky-high oasis stretching across 400 sq/m of internal living plus an additional 60 sq/m of external recreational space.

The customised penthouse will have private access to the entire floor, including 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, kitchen, butlers’ galley, 2 living rooms, and 3 balconies facing North, East, South & West.

“We were approached by a buyer who had a spectacular vision for Greenwich’s top floor, prompting us to reconfigure its design into the most spacious penthouse ever seen on Chevron Island,” said Ention Founding Director, Trent Thoroughgood.

“The new design materialises a sprawling New York City apartment, with high ceilings, soaring arched windows, impeccable views across the Gold Coast’s glittering sights and a truly incredible level of internal and external living space.”

Greenwich officially hits the market this week, but already the project has welcomed a barrage of interest from buyers eager to put their name to a slice of New York grandeur wedged in the Gold Coast lifestyle.

“We have received an enormous amount of enquiry since we took the wraps off Greenwich, and we’ve seen the bulk of this interest come from owner occupiers who have been drawn in by Greenwich’s unique design and proximity to local lifestyle precincts,” said Todd Matheson, Associate Director of KM Sales and Marketing.

“You’ve got this genuine sense of New York extravagance sat at what is essentially the gateway between two of the Gold Coast’s most vibrant arts and entertainment destinations, HOTA and Surfers Paradise”

Greenwich will mostly comprise of 3-bedroom apartments, with a selection of 2-bedroom units.

Prices for Greenwich apartments range from $595,000 – $2.5 million.

“Greenwich has opened the door a broad market of buyers to get their hands on the high-end luxury they’ve typically been priced out of, from downsizers to young executives and even some savvy first home buyers,” said Mr Matheson.

“Make no mistake though, this one of the most remarkable residential collections to hit the market and I believe it won’t take long for such a rare shot at luxury to fly off the shelf.”

Greenwich’s defining arched floor to ceiling windows will unlock uninterrupted views across the surrounding parkland, glittering Nerang River, and hinterland backdrop.

Atop the tower will sit a tranquil yoga lawn and luxurious rooftop pool welcoming residents to take in breathtaking views over the city skyline and winding riverway.

Greenwich will occupy a corner parcel of land at the junction of Aruma and Anembo Street, just a short distance from the HOTA arts precinct, Chevron Island village and winding waterways.
