A new $75million boutique residential apartment building PAMA Casuarina planned for the coastal community of Casuarina Beach in Northern New South Wales is set to capture the essence of the relaxed lifestyle.

The “private oasis” inspired building is being undertaken by Holm Developments and DeMartini Fletcher in a joint venture that will transform the large 4083sqm site at 5 Grand Parade in the heart of Casuarina Beach.

Plans for PAMA Casuarina encompass a luxury boutique collection of 47 two, three and four-bedroom private residences across four storeys within tropical landscaped grounds that feature exclusive resort-style amenities.

PAMA Casuarina will be a residential-focused apartment building for the owner-occupier, offering an opportunity for downsizers to move from a house into an apartment and holiday home seekers and families wanting an idyllic beachside lifestyle at Casuarina Beach.

Designed by local resident, architect Danny Juric of award-winning Plus Architecture, PAMA captures the essence of Casuarina’s beachside culture, blending a sophisticated coastal style with the iconic mid-century character of Palm Springs to create a luxurious oasis for residents.

Particular attention was given to enhancing the experience for PAMA’s residences and connecting them with the local community by including features such as a shared bicycle scheme that includes 30 custom vintage PAMA bicycles for residents to explore the many bike pathways provided by Tweed Shire Council.

Amenities in the tropical grounds include a pool with a wet deck and beach, barbecues with a kitchen and bar area for exclusive residential use, plus outdoor showers and a designated dog wash bay to complement the activities of beachside living.

The focus on enhancing the experience and complementing a low maintenance lifestyle at the beach inspired the development team to incorporate an expansive board storage facility in the building design and include a number of custom stand-up paddle boards and surfboards for use by residents and their guests.

PAMA Casuarina developer, Holm Developments Director Godfrey Esmonde, said he collaborated with John DeMartini of DeMartini Fletcher and secured the site earlier this year to deliver a unique owner-occupier focused sub-tropical apartment building for Casuarina Beach.

“We were immediately captivated by the relaxed and laidback lifestyle and amenities at Casuarina Beach, plus the convenience of the site’s location with shopping and cafes directly across the road,” Mr Esmonde said.

“It makes sense to develop a luxurious chic residential apartment building that sits in harmony with the unique character of the area and its environment.

“PAMA has been designed to reflect Casuarina’s relaxed beachside lifestyle and being located in the heart of the community it will further enhance the sophisticated style that has evolved over the past decade.

“We worked with our design team to create a place where everything is made easy so people can escape the hustle and bustle to relax. A place that is in keeping with the distinct look and feel of Casuarina Beach.”

Mr Esmonde said the building’s common areas and its landscaped grounds power will come from accredited sources under the Federal Governments National GreenPower Initiative, meaning that all energy requirements will come from 100% renewable sources with every apartment purchaser given the option to also connect to GreenPower if they choose to further reduce the carbon footprint of the Development.

A 40kw solar system will be installed on the rooftop to supply renewable energy back into the grid and contribute to the body corporate facilities, offsetting costs for air conditioning and lighting of common areas as well as the running and heating of the swimming pool.

Luxury apartment marketing agency TOTAL Property Group is managing the sales of PAMA Casuarina’s private residences and expects a high level of inquiry due to the growth of the area and the limited supply of quality owner-occupier apartments in the sought-after beachside location.

TOTAL Property Group Managing Director and PAMA Casuarina Marketing Manager Adrian Parsons said the development’s design responded to the need for high quality, low maintenance homes in the Northern Rivers coastal area of New South Wales.

“There is high demand for owner-occupier apartments that offer luxurious residences with resort-style amenities in beachside locations,” Mr Parsons said.

“Casuarina Beach is a masterplanned township nestled between Kingscliff and Cabarita that has developed into a beachside village which is very appealing to a wide range of demographics from downsizers and families to relocators and holiday home purchasers seeking an easy going lifestyle.

“The median house price for Casuarina over the last 12 months has risen to $2.1m and the introduction of PAMA creates a more affordable alternative for people looking to enter the Casuarina property market.

“PAMA Casuarina offers a selection of spacious two, three and four bedroom apartments that have been meticulously designed to cater for the owner-occupier and meet the growing demand for homes that offer the best of coastal living.

“We expect PAMA Casuarina’s private residences will be snapped up quickly by buyers looking for the ultimate beachside lifestyle with all the conveniences that make life easy.”

PAMA Casuarina encompasses 47 elegantly-appointed two, three and four-bedroom apartments across the building’s four levels and are priced from $1.1 million for the 129sqm two-bedroom apartments, from $1.7 million for three bedrooms and four bedrooms POA.

PAMA Casuarina’s luxury resort-style tropical grounds will be architecturally landscaped to create an outdoor oasis with amenities including a 20 metre heated swimming pool with a sand beach and wet deck, a barbecue, kitchen and bar area as well as a board shack with custom paddleboards and surfboards, a shared vintage bicycle scheme with 30 bikes, outdoor showers and a designated dog wash bay.

To be delivered by a joint venture between Holm Developments and DeMartini Fletcher, PAMA Casuarina will consist of 47 two, three and four-bedroom luxury apartments across four levels at 5 Grand Parade, Casuarina Beach.

Casuarina Beach is a pristine stretch of beach nestled between Kingscliff and Cabarita on the Northern New South Wales coast, just a 40 minute drive north of Byron Bay, offering the ultimate laidback lifestyle.

PAMA Casuarina is only a six minute drive to the Pacific Motorway, the Gold Coast Airport is less than 20 minutes away and new local infrastructure is being developed such as the new Tweed Valley Hospital.

A vibrant village centre The Commons and a second centre anchored by a Coles supermarket are located across the road from PAMA Casuarina, offering a range of speciality retailers, cafés and restaurants, health retailers.
