Mudgeeraba is set to score a new hospitality, health and retail precinct in early 2027, with the announcement of TEAK Mudgeeraba, bringing in new restaurants, bars, retail and wellness businesses to the area.

Featuring space for 14 newly built commercial spaces, TEAK Mudgeeraba aims to expand on Mudgeeraba’s growing appetite as the Gold Coast’s latest food scene, with a longtime favourite already onboard.

After calling Merrimac home for over 50 years, The Australian German Club has taken the anchor site for the relaunch of its famous restaurant and beer hall. Due to open in early 2027, the European inspired club will boast over 200 seats, with a focus on regular live music and special events throughout the year.

Known for its traditional German menu, diners can expect the return of popular items such as pork knuckle, schnitzels, sausages and pretzels. For those wanting a bite closer to home, the menu will also feature more ‘Aussie inspired’ plates such as fish and chips, chicken parmigiana, Caesar salad and a 250gm eye fillet steak.

Coming in for a cold stein or two? The newly built 30m bar will have over ten local and international beers on tap, as well as a range of wines, cocktails and non- alcoholic drinks.

The developers, who are local to the area said, “We’re in discussion with some great new restaurants and wine bars, as well as boutique beauty and fitness brands which the community are already excited about.”

With construction already underway, locals can expect to be pulling up a seat by next Summer. Located at 64 Railway Street, for further information visit www.teakmudgeeraba.com.au or contact [email protected].
