More Of What You Love…The New Macan GTS

Testing the new Macan GTS is always going make an amazing day.  Porsche Centre Gold Coast were keen to hand over the keys to this beauty – which had only just arrived in the country a few days before – so I felt very privileged to gain excess so quickly for this edition’s Dream Drives.

This Porsche looks stunning, with white exterior to complement the black wheels and black badges.
Set to sport mode and exhausts turned on, I would soon be finding out why everyone is talking so highly of the new Macan GTS.
It hits 0-100 in 4.9 seconds, which is super quick for this size car.
Power is at your control upon request; 380hp or 280kw to be precise, allowing the 2.9litre twin turbo engine to over perform.
The steering is quick and nicely weighted. After driving for several kilometres, and changing in and out of drive modes, I found that Sport mode is by far the best mode to choose for my style of driving.
I like the car to talk to me and to hear what it’s doing when pushed a little through its paces. It certainly is living up to the hype it’s causing worldwide!
Certainly roomy enough for family duties, and I am sure you will turn some heads on the weekend at any sporting match you attend to with the kids.

The interior is impeccably finished – as you would expect from the GTS and is pure Macan.
Porsche’s GTS theme inside has plenty of brushed aluminium highlights, a multi-function leather-trimmed steering wheel with shift paddles and GTS front sports seats.
Features include a new 10.9-inch touch-screen infotainment system with advanced voice recognition, Apple CarPlay including Siri voice control, 10-speaker/150-Watt Sound Package Plus, DAB+ digital radio.
In line with the black-look of the Macan GTS, other standard features include new Sport Design exterior package with black front and rear highlights and unique side skirts, a gloss-black tailgate spoiler, rear diffuser and exhaust outlets, and darkened LED headlights (with Porsche Dynamic Light System or PDLS) and tail-lights with LED light bar.
Overall the car looks and feels amazing on the road.
The GTS is certainly a step up with all of the amazing new features it’s loaded with.
