Questions:

  1. Tell us about yourself – where did you grow up and what is your background?

Surprising to most with my Aussie accent I was born in a coastal town in South Africa and moved over to Brisbane with my family when I was 7. I went to school and studied a bachelor of business there before moving to Sydney for modelling.

  1. Favourite thing about your hometown?

I love how Brisbane has that big town feeling of community and especially growing up there you get to know a lot of people. Everyone knows everyone there. Also it’s located between some amazing beaches! (Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast) lots of great hiking and camping too.

  1. How long have you been modelling for, and how were you scouted or discovered?

I’ve been modelling for just over 10 years now. Mostly in Brisbane and Sydney, but spent time working overseas as well. I was scouted through Facebook (when it was still fairly new) and thought it was a hoax, couldn’t possibly be real! But it was, and I jumped into the deep end.

  1. Healthy morning ritual that you follow to kick start your day on a positive note?

I make my bed as soon as I wake up, drink a glass of water and hit the road for a run or a ride, followed by a big breakfast and cappuccino of course

  1. What is something you’ve always to do/try?

I’ve always wanted to get more into acting! I’ve done a few short courses and a fair few tv ads but I’ve never actually given it a proper crack. I think it would be fun and really rewarding

  1. What do you enjoy about modelling?

I love that most jobs are different and you work with new faces all the time. You never really know what shoot is coming up next, you just have to roll with it and be ready for a lot of work or no work at all. Shoots are usually really fun environments and the catering/food is normally on point.

  1. What is your number one goal you are aiming to achieve for this coming New Year?

I’ve just secured a personal training facility in Sydney and will be taking on 1 on 1 clients as well as my existing classes I coach. So I will be pushing that as well as starting a new business on the side as well.

  1. What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

Life’s too short to do what other people think you should. Live your own life and find ways to smile as often as you can
