In just 12 months, EveryOne Homes, a division of Metricon, has delivered 100 new affordable homes in Southeast Queensland, with support from the Queensland Government, marking a major milestone for the Everyone’s Place initiative.
The achievement was celebrated today in Joyner with the Minister for Housing and Public Works Sam O’Connor and Moreton Bay Mayor Peter Flannery, who joined representatives from EveryOne Homes, Tetris Capital, KDL, and National Affordable Housing to tour the 100th completed home and commemorate the milestone.

Led by Tetris Capital, the Everyone’s Place consortium — with EveryOne Homes as builder, KDL as land developer, and National Affordable Housing as community housing provider — is delivering 483 affordable homes across Burpengary East, Jimboomba, Logan Reserve, and Joyner.
Within just one year of commencing construction, 100 homes have been completed, thanks to a fast and consistent delivery schedule, led by a motivated construction team commencing around 30 homes each month and achieving a five to six-month completion timeframe. The program remains on track to deliver all homes early in 2027.

“This milestone highlights the power of collaboration and commitment to providing Queenslanders with access to high-quality, affordable housing,” said Sam Gribble, General Manager, EveryOne.
“Metricon’s EveryOne Homes is proud to be part of a partnership that’s delivering real homes for real people, homes that are accessible, modern, designed and built to the same standards of quality and care that Metricon is known for. Reaching 100 homes within 12 months reflects an incredible effort from all involved.”

The homes are being offered at 75% of market rent to eligible households, providing safe and sustainable housing options for families and individuals. Featuring 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom layouts, each home includes a private backyard, garage, and contemporary interiors. A significant portion feature EveryOne Homes’ innovative dual-key designs, enabling flexible and multigenerational living arrangements.
The Everyone’s Place initiative demonstrates how public–private collaboration can accelerate the delivery of high-quality, community-focused housing that strengthens neighbourhoods and supports Queensland’s long term housing strategy.

EveryOne Homes continues to play a vital role in helping meet Queensland’s growing housing needs by combining construction excellence with community purpose. The company’s involvement in the Everyone’s Place consortium reflects Metricon’s broader commitment to delivering homes that make a lasting social impact, supporting both housing affordability and community resilience.
