Mr Hunt said the milestone was a major achievement for the family-owned business which had assisted the property industry through many cycles of the property market.
“We’re absolutely delighted to be the agency of choice for the property sector in a city where development, construction and real estate is our biggest industry,” said Mr Hunt.
“We’re entering an incredibly dynamic phase in the city’s evolution and to be able to play a part advising such an important sector is something we don’t take lightly.
“MediaHunt has been built on the family values of hard work, integrity, honesty and loyalty and we have spent many years building trust with key stakeholders not only locally but throughout Australia.
“Having four decades in a rapidly evolving media landscape, we are trusted by media locally and across the country as a reliable and credible source for news content.”
MediaHunt’s birthday celebrations coincide with a rebrand of the business as it enters the next generation under the catch line ‘Make it Matter’.

Steve and Estelle’s daughter Holly, a former Palm Beach-Currumbin High School student, who is undertaking a communications degree at Bond University, is also on staff. The company’s video production and broadcast arm is headed by former Fox Sports and Channel 9 anchor and journalist Sean Lawson.
Mr Hunt said the company took its role as a media advistory to the industry seriously, and was a regular contributor to property forums and discussions surrounding growth management and housing affordability.
Media Hunt also hosts the annual Ocean Road Magazine and MediaHunt “Around Table Property Forum” which has been held for a number of years ar Royal Pines Resort and attended by a broad sector of the development community with keynote speakers such as Deputy Premier Jarod Bleijie, Housing Minister Sam O’Connor and Deputy Mayor Mark Hammel.

“We’re very committed to the region we serve and take our role in incluencing how our community is shaped very seriously,” said Mr Hunt.
“We are currently at a critical juncture in the evolution of the Gold Coast and we will continue to play an active role in ensuring the sustainable growth of our region with our development partners.
“Our clients have investments in the region in the tens of billions of dollars which is not only providing a broad range of housing options but resulting in the creation of thousands of employment opportunities for our communities.”
Mr Hunt has been on the Gold Coast for 38 years and had an active career as a journalist prior to the establishment of Media Hunt.
“We’ve been through the cycles, we understand the pulse of the city and we have been delighted to introduce national and international developers to the Gold Coast over many years,” he said.
“We have been delighted to play an active role in shaping how the Gold Coast is perceived whilst also operating nationally throughout Australia and New Zealand on projects our clients are undertaking.”

“For decades the Gold Coast has been defined by bold vision, transformative developments and the people that bring them to life – we have enjoyed creating and sharing the stories that have shaped our skyline.
“We have maintained and developed trusted partnerships with our extensive local, national and international media networks, connecting those visions with the audiences that matter the most.
“Most importantly, our clients trust us.

“We look forward to continuing to deliver these stories the betterment of our communities as we head toward the 2032 Olympics and beyond.”
