The JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa was buzzing with warmth and laughter last Sunday as guests gathered for the Act for Kids Mama & Me High Tea, a heartwarming celebration of connection and community.

Mums, daughters, sons, friends, and families (with a few brave dads in tow!) came together over tea and treats to share stories, smiles, and a common purpose: to make a real difference for kids who need it most.

The event raised more than $25,000 for Act for Kids, which will go directly to Flourish – Child and Family Therapy, a vital Gold Coast–based program providing holistic, trauma-informed support for local children and families.

The room was perfectly styled by Synergy Blooms Luxury Event Stylist, whose stunning designs made the afternoon as beautiful as it was meaningful.
