A rare collection of luxury split-level homes overlooking a picturesque wildlife corridor – some with city skyline views – has been unveiled at the $200 million GemLife Gold Coast resort in Pimpama, following more than $72 million in sales at the sought-after community.

The 39 architecturally designed homes, priced from $1.2 million, are the most premium ever to be delivered by leading over-50s lifestyle resort developer GemLife, and have been carefully curated for those with a love of entertaining.

The finishing touches have just been put on the first of the elevated homes, which is now open as a display, with construction underway on four more, due for completion in April. The balance of the expansive homes is anticipated to be finished between late 2024 and late 2025.

Four designs are available – the Aruma, Vantage, Panorama and Summit – each offering a spacious open-plan design with two-bedrooms plus multipurpose room, ultra-high ceilings, large rear yards, two alfresco areas, louvered shade systems and designer kitchens with European appliances.

GemLife Director and Chief Executive Officer, Adrian Puljich, said the split-level homes raised the bar for over-50s living and provided a new option for those looking to become part of the in-demand GemLife Gold Coast community.

“This boutique collection of homes features luxury living in an elevated location at GemLife Gold Coast, which captures expansive outlooks – including to the city’s famed coastline, breezes and natural light, creating a sense of openness, space and privacy,” he said.

“We’re always looking at new ways to redefine over-50s living for today’s active residents, and to deliver a variety of housing choices to suit different lifestyles, and these homes tick those boxes.”

Mr Puljich said the split-level homes featured 326sqm to 351sqm of living space with a master suite located on both levels, providing plenty of privacy when guests stay or the option for dual living.

“Each home features outdoor entertainment areas on both the upper and lower level, plus an alfresco kitchen, complemented by a built-in bar area and wine fridge inside, making them ideal for those who love to host family, friends and neighbours,” he said.

The homes feature an elevator as well as stairs, with luxury upgrades and designer finishes as standard, including smart tech home automation for lights and fans, and multiple façade and colour-schemes to choose from.

GemLife Gold Coast has been in high demand since launching to the market in mid-2022, with nearly all 111 traditional homes in stage one and two sold, and a waiting list of buyers anticipating the release of stage three, which will launch later this year

Construction is powering ahead on the new community, with the first residents moving into the resort in December (2023), and its sprawling $22.9 million country club taking shape and anticipated to open in late 2025.

The three-level country club will feature a resort-style rooftop infinity-edge pool, poolside cabanas, sky lounge, wellness club, bowling alley, cinema, wine lounge, virtual golf, bar, café, arts studio, workshop, library, hair salon and dance floor, to name a few.

GemLife Gold Coast will also include an outoor hilltop pavilion and pool.

“The community features a range of fitness, wellness, relaxation and recreational amenities for all our residents, including those in our new split-level collection homes, that is truly second to none,” said Mr Puljich.

“Demand has been extremely strong for homes across the board and with a large wait list already for stage three, we’re expecting the more than 100 homes to sell within weeks of hitting the market, when they’re released later this year.

“The new split-level homes offer a rare opportunity, with only a limited number of these designs to be released in future stages.”

GemLife Gold Coast is the largest community of its kind in the city and will feature 365 homes across 46-hectares in Pimpama, with the site boasting picturesque city skyline and mountain views.
