Coffee Popping Pearl Recipes
Iced Bubble Caramel Latte
Ingredients
- 150ml milk
- Ice to fill glass 2/3
- 1 shot L’OR Espresso Capsule or 1 heaped teaspoon of L’OR Vigoroso & 40ml of hot water
- 25g L’OR Coffee Popping Pearls
- Optional – Caramel Syrup
Instructions
- Coat the glass with caramel around the side
- Add ice to the glass
- Pour in milk and then gently pour shot of L’OR coffee
- Top with L’OR Coffee Popping Pearls
- Add your bubble straw, stir the drink & enjoy
L’OR Pearls & Ice Cream
Ingredients
- 2 scoops of Ice Cream
- 30g L’OR Coffee Popping Pearls
- Optional – caramel sauce or chocolate shavings
Instructions
- Scoop ice cream into a bowl or glass
- Spoon the L’OR Popping Pearls & their coffee liquid on top of the ice cream
- Garnish & serve with a spoon
L’OR Popping Pearl Tiramisu
Ingredients
- 400ml double cream
- 250g mascarpone
- 5 tbsp golden caster sugar
- 450g L’OR Popping Pearls (one pack)
- 175g lady fingers
- 25g dark chocolate
- 2 tsp cocoa powder
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together cream, mascarpone, and sugar until thick.
- Pour half of the L’OR Coffee Popping Pearls & their coffee liquid into a strainer over a shallow dish to separate the pearls from the liquid.
- You will use half a pack now and save the other half for later. Store the unused pearls in the coffee liquid in the fridge until serving.
- Dip the lady fingers into the coffee liquid to soak on both sides.
- Use half the amount of lady fingers to layer the bottom of a dessert dish, then spread half of the cream over them.
- Spoon the coffee pearls you separated earlier onto the cream layer and roughly grate half of the chocolate over the pearls.
- Add another layer of soaked lady fingers and the remaining cream.
- Cover and chill for a few hours or overnight.
- To serve, dust with the cocoa powder, grated chocolate and the remaining L’OR popping pearls.
L’OR Popping Pearls Espresso Martini
Ingredients
- 40ml Vodka
- 20ml coffee liqueur
- 1 L’OR Espresso Capsule
- Ice Cubes
- L’OR Coffee Popping Pearls
Instructions
- Brew your L’OR Espresso
- Add espresso, vodka, coffee liqueur and ice into a cocktail shaker
- Shake well until foamy
- Add L’OR Popping Pearls with a spoon & enjoy

Chocolate Mousse with L’OR Coffee Popping Pearls
Ingredients
- 200g dark chocolate (70% cocoa)
- 3 large eggs, separated
- 50g granulated sugar
- 200ml double cream
- 1-2 spoons of L’OR Coffee Popping Pearls (for garnish)
Instructions
- Break the chocolate into small pieces and melt in a heatproof bowl over a pot of simmering water. Stir until smooth and then remove from heat. Let it cool slightly.
- In a clean, dry bowl, beat the egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add the granulated sugar and continue beating until stiff peaks form.
- In a separate bowl, whip the double cream until it forms soft peaks.
- Stir the egg yolks into the melted chocolate until well combined. Gently fold in the whipped cream, followed by the beaten egg whites, ensuring you maintain as much air as possible for a light mousse texture.
- Spoon the chocolate mousse into serving glasses or bowls.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set.
- Add L’OR coffee popping pearls on top for a unique burst of flavour.
L’OR Coffee Popping Pearls & Greek Yoghurt Parfait
Ingredients
- 150g Greek yoghurt
- 50g L’OR Coffee Popping Pearls
- 1-2 spoons of granola
Instructions
- Spoon Greek yoghurt in a bowl
- Add a layer of L’OR Coffee Popping Pearls & granola
- Top with the remaining yoghurt, granola, coffee pearls & their liquid on top of the yoghurt
- Serve with a spoon & enjoy

Goat Cheese Mousse Crackers with Black Olives & L’OR Coffee Popping Pearls
Ingredients
- 100g goat cheese
- 100ml double cream
- Your favourite crackers
- 50g black olives, chopped or black olive pate
- L’OR Coffee Popping Pearls (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the goat cheese and double cream.
- Use a hand blender to blend the mixture until it is smooth and well combined.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the mousse to firm up slightly.
- Arrange your favourite crackers on a serving platter.
- Spoon a small amount of the goat cheese mousse onto each cracker.
- Add a small amount of chopped black olives or a dollop of black olive pate on top of the mousse.
- Finish by placing a few L’OR Coffee Popping Pearls on each cracker for a unique burst of flavour.
- Serve immediately as an appetiser or a sophisticated hors d’oeuvre.
