The Ray Price Invitational Charity Golf Day is back at Royal Pines on Monday March 16 with participants having plenty of skin in the game to raise awareness and funds for charity partner Melanoma Institute Australia.

The event features an impressive hole-in-one prize – a Lexus NX350h Luxury Wagon, courtesy of Lexus of Southport. Other prizes include a new Callaway Quantum driver from Drummond West Burleigh, Parramatta Eels apparel, luxury accommodation packages, and unique experiences tailored for sports enthusiasts.

The event raises critical funds and awareness for melanoma, a disease that impacts one Australian every 30 minutes.

Founded by Dual International and Parramatta Eels legend Ray Price, who, along with his wife Sandy, are both melanoma survivors and Melanoma Institute Australia ambassadors, the event continues to grow in stature, attracting supporters from across the country eager to drive change in skin cancer prevention and research.

“Melanoma is a battle I know all too well, and I’m passionate about using my platform to help others,” says Ray.

“We’re gearing up for up biggest and best event yet. This year’s golf day will be packed with excitement, amazing prizes, and an incredible opportunity to support melanoma research.

“I can’t wait to see everyone out on the course enjoying the day for such an important cause.”

According to Melanoma Institute Australia, 16,800 Australians are expected to be diagnosed with melanoma this year.

Research indicated that 95 per cent of melanomas are caused by overexposure to UV radiation, making it largely preventable through sun-safe practices such as wearing a hat, protective clothing, sunglasses, and sunscreen.

Golfers of all skill levels will enjoy an action-packed day featuring 18 holes of golf, exclusive meet-and-greets with sporting legends, and a vibrant atmosphere filled with camaraderie and purpose.

Past attendees include footy legends Peter Sterling, David Liddiard and Paul ‘Fatty’ Vautin, author Trent Dalton and Olympian Sam Short.

Tickets are available for $169.00 per person and can be purchased at https://lnkd.in/gP7Jzz9R
