Jordan Kahu joins Gold Coast-first expansion of night-club style gym studio S30

Australia’s hottest group weight training studio, Set 30 Studio (S30), finally makes the move to the Gold Coast, with the opening of its Mermaid Beach studio, the seventh S30 across the country.

An experience like no other, S30 Studio is known for challenging the status quo and replaces tired, predictable and mundane classes with custom-built environments and work-outs by using the newest weight, tempo and time techniques to get the best results.

The nightclub-style fitness studio offers high BPM and good vibes during its 45-minute group weight sessions, including 30 sets across 18 stations that will guarantee to make you sweat and scream for more.

S30 General Manager and Co-Founder Luke Faulkner says it was the focus on community and culture that made the Gold Coast the obvious next step for the evolution of the franchise.

“No other part of Australia identifies more with health, fitness and community than the Gold Coast. Pairing S30 and this iconic location – and the wider state of Queensland – is the perfect fit and I can’t wait to see everyone getting involved,” said Faulkner.

S30 Mermaid Beach will be led by co-owner and former professional NRL football player Jordan Kahu as he will shake up the fitness scene at the Gold Coast.

“I’m very excited to see Bronco’s legend Jordan leading the studio from Mermaid Beach. His hard work is a testament to his leadership and I’ve seen him workout; he’ll be pushing his community to reach their absolute best at all sessions!”
