Tropical Fruit World and Sourdough Business Women hosted an incredible International Women’s Day Lunch highlighting this year’s theme cracking the code: ‘Innovation for a gender equal future‘.

This inaugural lunch had the driving force of Judy Brinsmead AM behind bringing it to life. Judy, a long term & passionate advocate of women’s issues provided insight into her personal career experiences & why luncheons like those held around International Women’s Day are so important to educate, connect and provide
support mechanisms for women not only in business but also in life.

A thought-provoking keynote from multiple Walkley Award winning author, journalist and broadcaster, Tracey Spicer imparted hard hitting facts delivered with humour and grace.

An exceptional panel of local empowering and inspiring women representing the STEM industry was also curated and offered relatable and accessible messages for all attendees.

Cracking the Code highlights the role that bold, transformative ideas, inclusive technologies, and education can play in combatting discrimination and the marginalisation of women globally.

Tropical Fruit World General Manager Aymon Gow said “We are looking forward to making this event the must attend IWD ticket each year, I think our principal Judy summed it up beautifully today in saying what is good for women is good for all”.

Because a gender equal future is something we can all get behind!
