How Odyssey Chevron Island is redefining luxury senior living with three sky-high residences, concierge service and five-star resort privileges

Odyssey Lifestyle Care Communities has long been compared to a stationary cruise ship; a place you go to live. But Odyssey Chevron Island is set to chart an entirely new course. Odyssey founder Phil Usher says the penthouses were created in direct response to demand from Australians seeking more than the traditional aged care offering.

Located on Level 16, the Peninsula 1 Penthouse is priced at $6.54 million and offers four bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms across 305m2 of internal space, complemented by 207m2 of balcony space and equating to a total of 512m2.

To the east, the Azure Penthouse, priced at $8.77 million, is a four-bedroom, four-bathroom, two-powder room residence offering 333m2 internally, 357m2 of balcony, separate living quarters for family or staff and private rooftop terrace space, which is a total of 690m2.

The Pearl Penthouse, priced at $9.35 million, is the pinnacle of the community and faces the west. Together the penthouses average between $12,773 and $13,838 per square metre. By comparison, penthouses in Perspective Helm, Chevron Island sold in the $10 million range, with both Penthouse 9 and 10 spanning 793m2 across two levels, costing approximately $12,600 per square metre and in 2022, a four-bedroom apartment covering over 364 sqm in Chevron One Residences sold for a record-breaking price of $9 million, equating to $24,725 per square metre.

Penthouse residents will also benefit from a dedicated service team that includes two full-time roles, a concierge and a driver. The concierge will operate in the role of executive assistant, butler and house manager, overseeing everything from personal appointments, assisting with scheduling potential care to securing restaurant reservations. Mr Usher says while the penthouses reflect the top end of the market, apartments in the Chevron community start at $800,000.
