Odyssey Lifestyle Care Communities is calling on the local community to help bring the spirit of Christmas and holiday cheer to seniors by joining their Christmas Night Markets.

Now in its fourth year and scheduled for Thursday 5th December from 4.00PM, this beloved event was created as a free and fun community event for seniors unable to visit Christmas festivities.

Odyssey CEO and founder Phil Usher says they are thrilled to bring the community together each year and having local vendors participate makes it extra special for residents and guests.

“It can be difficult for some of our residents to get to the markets, which is what inspired us to hold our own, so we are thrilled to open our doors and welcome everyone to enjoy this free and fun community event,” says Mr Usher.

“The holiday season is all about creating magical moments and appreciating the spirit of community and connection.

“Our Christmas Market is not just a celebration for our residents, it’s also an opportunity for the entire community to come together, have fun and enjoy a spot of Christmas shopping.”

Guests can enjoy an array of stalls, delicious food and drink, handcrafted treasures, local goodies, arts and crafts, cheerful decorations, raffles and prizes and even a special visit from Santa.

Odyssey’s Christmas Night Market, sponsored by Mettle, will be held on Thursday 5th December from 4.00PM and located in the alfresco and garden area at 1 The Crestway Robina.

The Odyssey model is built around a resort style environment where couples stay together, pets are welcome, grandkids can have sleepovers and most importantly, the dignity, independence and wellbeing of residents are highly respected.
