Stage Two of GemLife Gold Coast’s new $200 million master-planned community has launched early.

STAGE Two of a new $200 million over-50s lifestyle resort, GemLife Gold Coast, has been released ahead of schedule following strong sales on the heels of its Stage One launch.

Set on a 46-hectare, elevated site in the Gold Coast’s Pimpama, the flagship resort will be the city’s largest of its kind. The resort, which captures city skyline and mountain views, will feature luxury facilities including a sprawling country club, rooftop infinity-edge pool, bowling alley, cinema, wine lounge and virtual golf.

The resort will ultimately comprise 365 homes – with Stage Two featuring 88 homes – delivered in stages over more than three years along with fitness, wellness, relaxation and recreation amenities designed for today’s increasingly active and healthy over-50s.

GemLife director and CEO Adrian Puljich says the level of amenities at GemLife Gold Coast will be second to none.

“It will cater to a host of recreational pursuits and opportunities to socialise, whether catching up at the bar or café, creating a masterpiece in the arts studio or workshop, picking out a new read at the library, going to the hair salon or taking to the dance floor – to name a few,” he says.

“Residents will live the resort lifestyle every day – from the golf simulator to the sky lounge and the infinity-edge pool complete with semi-submerged sun lounges and poolside cabanas.

“We know our over-50s are staying healthier and living longer and, as they get older, they prioritise activities that mean the most to them – from friendships to fitness and simply feeling good. GemLife Gold Coast is designed to meet that benchmark every day.

“The luxury will continue within the homes, which feature generously proportioned living spaces and quality finishes for the ultimate comfort and style.”

Mr Puljich says inquiries are predominantly from buyers on the Gold Coast and Brisbane, with the location in the northern Gold Coast corridor making the resort easily accessible to both city centres.

“With Stage One selling faster than anticipated and strong enquiries already for Stage Two, we’re excited to launch Stage Two ahead of schedule,” he says.

About Stage Two

The resort’s second stage is now selling off-the-plan, with homes priced from $640,000. There are eight home designs available, each including two bedrooms plus a multi-purpose room, 192sqm to 211sqm of living space, designer finishes and a six-star energy rating.

All homes come with a generous array of quality inclusions as standard including ultra-high ceilings, stainless steel appliances, a fully integrated dishwasher, microwave, fan-forced oven and induction cooktop, walk-in pantry, walk-in robes in bedrooms and a remote-control two-car garage. Homes also feature an automatic louvred shading system.

Stage Two is ideally located a short walk from the resort’s future country club.

Custom, split-level homes

Released at the same time as Stage Two are two custom, split-level home designs, created to optimise views, breezes and natural light on several unique blocks in Stage One – the last blocks available in the stage.

Prices start at $1.2 million for these exclusive 342sqm and 351sqm home designs and feature two bedrooms plus multipurpose room, three bathrooms plus powder room, sizable rear yards, a generous alfresco area, balcony, two living areas, walk-in pantries and double garages.

Master-planned, with luxury facilities

GemLife Gold Coast’s master plan and extensive facilities have been designed by Gold Coast architect Jared Poole, director of Jared Poole Design.

Mr Poole says the three-level country club, which spans an impressive 7000sqm of floor space, the Wellness Club and ‘Peak Pavilion’ – a viewing deck and open-air amphitheatre – were designed with the Gold Coast lifestyle in mind.

“With our prestige background, we wanted every space to exude a touch of resort-style luxury while maintaining an essence of comfort, breaking the mold for over-50s living,” he says.

“Our brief was to create a premium, high-street village feel and sense of community. The pinnacle is undoubtedly the rooftop entertaining space, which will be a place for residents to relax or socialise while taking in panoramic views from North Stradbroke to Burleigh.”

Experience Centre now open

Home buyers can enjoy an immersive and interactive experience of the lifestyle on offer in the community at the recently opened, state-of-the-art GemLife Gold Coast Experience Centre.

The centre has been architecturally designed to reflect the look and feel of the future resort. It includes a cutting-edge ‘selections room’ for inclusions and finishing samples and display home room re-creations to help home buyers have a richer, more complete journey towards homeownership – something that is particularly important while a development is in the pre-construction phase.

The GemLife Gold Coast Experience Centre, at Gemstone Drive (accessible via McCabe Avenue), in Pimpama, is open for inspection from 9am to 5pm weekdays and 10am to 4pm Saturdays. Call 1800 325 229 or visit https://www.gemlife.com.au/gemlife-gold-coast-resort/ for details.
