Brisbane-based developer GCAP Property is preparing to bring a new era of boutique coastal living to the Gold Coast, with the upcoming launch of its landmark $100 million residential tower, Hamilton Avenue, in Surfers Paradise.

The project, which recently secured development approval from Gold Coast City Council, will deliver a limited collection of ultra-luxury residences designed for buyers seeking scale, sophistication and timeless appeal.

Located at 12–14 Hamilton Avenue on an 805sqm site running parallel to the coastline, just 80 metres from the beach, Hamilton Avenue enjoys a position that cannot be built out, ensuring every residence has panoramic, protected ocean views.

The address is steps from the Gold Coast Light Rail, Northcliffe Surf Club, the dining and retail heart of Surfers Paradise and within easy reach of Broadbeach, The Star and Pacific Fair.

The project will introduce just 20 ultra-luxury residences across 18 levels. The single-floor residences will boast a 25-metre ocean frontage and exceptionally large living and dining zones, while the two-level penthouse will span 460sqm with its own rooftop pool, cellar, private wellness provisions and the flexibility for features such as a golf simulator.

“Hamilton Avenue represents our commitment to creating spaces that are deeply considered – homes with scale, character and enduring quality,” said Adam Philps, Director of GCAP Property.

“This project reflects our philosophy that true design excellence comes from collaboration, expertise and a willingness to challenge the norm.

“With DKO’s architecture and a proven build partner, buyers can have complete confidence in what’s to come.”

Podium-level amenities will centre on wellness and lifestyle, including an ocean-facing pool, private dining room with BBQ facilities, and a full wellness centre featuring a gym, spa, sauna, steam room, ice bath, treatment spaces and outdoor shower.

The design by DKO deliberately shifts away from the light, white coastal aesthetic typical of the Gold Coast. Inspired by Manhattan and modern Art Deco influences, interiors will feature stone, timber, bronze detailing and warm textures that embody a quiet sophistication, setting a new benchmark for timeless beachside 4luxury.

Project marketing is being led by One:PM, with Senior Sales Executive Simon Worthington noting strong early enquiry.

“Hamilton Avenue is resonating with buyers who want more than the standard coastal apartment – it’s for those seeking style, scale and a sense of home in a world-class location,” Mr Worthington said.

“The design draws on international inspiration while staying true to Surfers Paradise, offering a new way to experience this destination. ‘Paradise Awaits’ is exactly the lifestyle Hamilton Avenue promises.”

GCAP will deliver the project in partnership with prominent Australian builder APGC Group, bringing together two groups with a shared focus on quality and reliability.
