Queensland developer GCAP Property is strengthening its footprint in southeast Queensland, officially launching its highly anticipated $120 million residential project, Hamilton Avenue, in Surfers Paradise.

The launch follows strong early demand that has already seen $35 million secured in pre-sales, signalling buyer confidence in what will be a rare addition to the Gold Coast market.

This milestone marks a new chapter in GCAP’s ongoing delivery of luxury homes, highlighting the company’s dedication to creating exceptional residences for discerning buyers.

Hamilton Avenue showcases just 23 ultra-luxury residences, featuring an array of full-floor four-bedroom apartments spanning 312sqm priced from $5.2 million, a limited series of half-floor residences, and a two-level penthouse with its own rooftop pool, cellar and private wellness provisions.

The launch coincides with the official opening of the sales display for Hamilton Avenue, located inside the world-renowned Q1 – marking the public’s first introduction to the Gold Coast’s next era of luxury residential living.

“We have a lot of experience in South East Queensland, and we are excited to bring our wealth of knowledge to Surfers Paradise,” said Adam Philps, Director at GCAP Property.

“The Gold Coast is undergoing a major transformation, with more buyers drawn by the incredible lifestyle it offers, and we expect Hamilton Avenue will play its part, offering something truly unique.”

Hamilton Avenue has recorded strong pre-launch interest, as apartments are already being snapped up by local and Brisbane buyers, with the project marketing led by leading sales agency, One: PM.

“There have already been a lot of pre-launch inquiries, with buyers really drawn by the unique design and offering of Hamilton Avenue,” said Simon Worthington, Head of Projects at One:PM.

“This truly is a special project for the Gold Coast, and it’s evident it has resonated with buyers who are seeking style, scale and a sense of home in a precinct that is becoming one of the high-end residential apartment precincts on the Gold Coast.”

“Lifestyle remains the ultimate drawcard for today’s buyers, and Hamilton Avenue delivers on every level, from its resort-style amenities to its focus on wellness, which truly takes centre stage.”

“We also encourage buyers to experience our display in Q1, which brings the vision of the building to life-showcasing its unique New York Manhattan-inspired design, a deliberate move away from the typical coastal styling currently prevalent across the Gold Coast.”

The recently approved project is set to usher in a new style of boutique luxury living in a highly sought-after ultra-luxury residential precinct in the southern part of Surfers Paradise.

Located at 12-14 Hamilton Avenue, the development is strategically positioned just 80 meters from the beach, to ensure every residence has protected panoramic views of the ocean, which cannot be built out.

The single-floor residences, are designed with luxury in mind, showcasing expansive living and dining zones. The two-level penthouse spans 460 sqm, featuring its own rooftop pool, cellar, private wellness provisions and the flexibility for features such as a golf simulator, ensuring a lifestyle like no other.

Hamilton Avenue has been designed in collaboration with DKO to deliberately shift away from the light, white and bright coastal schemes seen on the Gold Coast, to showcase interiors inspired by New York and Manhattan style, blended with modern Art Deco.

The façade will continue the unique design story, with strong architectural lines and timeless geometry, to create an iconic addition to the Gold Coast skyline.

Residents will have access to podium-level amenities including an ocean-facing pool, a private dining room with BBQ facilities, and a full wellness centre featuring a gym, spa, sauna, steam room, ice bath, treatment spaces and outdoor shower.

“We wanted to step away from the traditional coastal aesthetic, and deliver something bold, timeless, that will set a benchmark for luxury projects on the coast,” said Mr Philps.

“We are creating an exclusive collection of finely crafted apartments that are designed to truly capture the Gold Coast lifestyle.”

“At GCAP, we are committed to the highest standards of architectural design and build quality – and Hamilton Avenue will be no different.”

Work on Hamilton Avenue is scheduled to commence in the second quarter of 2026, with completion anticipated for mid-2028.
