Quote from Emily
“I’m so excited to be a part of Groundwater for the first time – playing this festival has been on my bucket list and I’ve been working hard towards it! So it feels like kicking a huge goal being invited to play this year. Getting to play alongside the calibre of acts on the lineup is such a privilege as well.
“As a Gold Coast girl (born and raised!), it’s really special to have the chance to play at such a renowned festival in my hometown – it makes me really proud of this place and the leaps it has made within the arts and music scene over the years.
“What I love about Groundwater CMF is this unique experience of playing and watching country music by the beach – it’s such an unexpected setting but adds so much magic to it all. It’s also a really special opportunity to connect with such a diverse audience like the Gold Coast.
“This will be my first time getting to see Kacey Chambers play live, so I’m very excited about that. I’m also pumped to be able to see pals Sweet Talk – love what they do and it’s so exciting to watch them killing it.”
