The Gold Coast Turf Club came alive on Saturday, 1 November 2025, as guests gathered for the Derby Day Moët & Chandon Impérial Fashion Luncheon — a spectacular afternoon of racing glamour, exquisite dining, and champagne sophistication. From the moment the venue opened at 11:30am, the air buzzed with excitement as racegoers arrived dressed to impress in striking monochrome ensembles. The afternoon promised not just premium racing but a celebration of high style and refined indulgence, perfectly complemented by flowing Moët & Chandon and impeccable hospitality.

Central to the day’s festivities was the Madam Republic Fashions on the Field competition, which drew a dazzling array of contenders in black-and-white couture. Tailored suits, bold millinery, and statement dresses turned heads as judges from Madam Republic, this year’s major sponsor, selected winners based on creativity, elegance, and individuality. The competition perfectly captured the spirit of Derby Day — classic sophistication with a contemporary Gold Coast edge. Guests enjoyed a seamless blend of racing action, entertainment, and fine food as entrees and lunch were served alongside the flowing beverage package.
