The Southern Women Connect Luncheon brought together an inspiring gathering of women on Friday, 21 August, at Currumbin RSL for an afternoon centred on connection, empowerment and wellbeing. Guests were welcomed with a drink on arrival before settling in to enjoy a two-course meal, setting the tone for a warm and inclusive atmosphere where attendees could relax, unwind and connect with like-minded women from across the region.
Throughout the luncheon, guest speakers shared insights and personal stories that inspired meaningful conversation around looking after oneself, building confidence and strengthening overall wellbeing. Attendees left with practical takeaways for their own wellbeing journeys, alongside new connections and friendships formed over the course of the afternoon. The event also gave guests the opportunity to discover local businesses and community organisations on hand to offer ongoing support.
Proudly presented by Bendigo Bank Tugun, the Southern Women Connect Luncheon once again reinforced its role as a valued fixture on the Gold Coast community calendar, championing women supporting women and fostering a genuine sense of belonging. The afternoon stood as a reminder of the power of community, connection and shared experience in supporting the wellbeing of women across the Southern Gold Coast.
