The Star’s Garden Kitchen & Bar lawn will dial up the Euro charm every Thursday to Sunday when the sun goes down, unveiling Riviera on The Lawn as part two of a three-part series to deliver the world’s hottest summer destinations to the Gold Coast.

Be transported to the playground of the rich and famous as you unwind on The Lawn on a Veuve Clicquot champagne lounge or settle in to hot European-inspired DJ sets and ice-cold Grey Goose cocktails on the Garden Kitchen & Bar deck.

Savour the fresh flavours of a mouth-watering Mediterranean-inspired menu featuring fresh oysters, crispy school prawns, tuna niçoise bowls, pommes frites and charcuterie with air dried wagyu bresaola, prosciutto, triple cream brie, aioli and wood fired flat bread.

From the woodfired oven, chefs will tantalise guests with dishes including Hervey Bay scallops with smoked garlic butter, pizzas topped with confit duck or French cheeses and traditional Pissaladière. Enjoy a summer splurge every Thursday when selected snacks from The Lawn’s Container Kitchen are only $5 between 6.30pm and 9.30pm.

Entry to Riviera on The Lawn is free and features live Euro-inspired entertainment providing the perfect mix of solstice chill and electro energy to while away the balmy summer nights.
The Star Gold Coast Chief Operating Officer Jess Mellor said while international travel was off the cards, The Star was bringing dream holiday destinations to the Gold Coast – no passports required.

“The Lawn is the perfect spot for laidback long weekends and shady, outdoor summer celebrations this year,” Ms Mellor said.

“In true summer style, we’re kicking off the weekend early and starting the party every Thursday evening with a refreshing cocktail list, a delicious $5 food menu and a line-up of live and local musicians.

“The fun continues until late on Friday and Saturday nights and we’ll make sure everyone ends the weekend on a high with a laidback Sunday afternoon session that starts at 3pm.”

The Star wraps up its season of sun, sounds and sweet vibes with one last summer fling when it throws a Southern California-themed party on The Lawn from 21 January to 28 February 2021.
