The Boat Works, have added yet another quiver to their bow with the opening of “Hair Works” – a Barber + Massage option available now on-site.

Catering to tenants, contractors, visiting crew and well-coiffed locals, Hair Works Barber & Massage comprises a team of specialist barbers who offer haircuts, beard trims plus the added benefit of qualified massage therapist providing remedial, swedish and deep tissue massage.

Adjacent to the iconic Car museum and Espresso Twenty5 Café, Hair Works was designed as a retro-styled retreat from the Boatyard featuring a fascinating selection of racing memorabilia from Bathurst-winning owner of The Boat Works facility, Tony Longhurst.

Enjoy your treatment in the capable hands of the resident barbers and therapists while watching racing on the big-screen, surrounded by classic and vintage bikes and cars, sipping on Byron Bay coffee (or your beverage of choice).

Tony Longhurst says the Village atmosphere at The Boat Works inspired them to add the barbers.

“It’s only logical! We have created such a community here with our tenants, partners, suppliers, customers, staff and visitors,” he explains.

There are over 1,000 people on-site on any given day across the two facilities at The Boat Works.  Teamed with over 5000 odd employees extending across various marine service providers along with the marine manufacturers of Maritimo, Riviera, Quintrex within the Coomera Marine Precinct.

“Each weekend, the Café and Car Museum attract motoring enthusiasts who regularly gather for ‘Show & Shine’ events or stop here for refreshment during their coast rallies,” Tony continues.

“Hair Works Barber & Massage is a welcome addition to our Boat Works Community, and a convenient pit-stop for the well-groomed.”
