Ocean Road celebrated Mother’s Day 2026 with champagne, high tea and a refined French-inspired lunch in the heart of Currumbin Valley

Ocean Road attended a beautifully curated Mother’s Day celebration at The Valley Estate on Sunday 10 May 2026, where guests experienced a day of refined dining, elegant hospitality and lush hinterland surrounds. The morning commenced inside the estate’s stunning Glasshouse with the L’Altro Mother’s Day High Tea, where guests were welcomed with a glass of Moët & Chandon Rosé before indulging in a selection of handmade finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones and delicate pastries accompanied by loose-leaf tea and freshly brewed coffee.

Set amongst the greenery and natural beauty of the Currumbin Valley, the Glasshouse offered a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere as families gathered to celebrate the occasion. The elegant setting, combined with impeccable service and a curated champagne menu featuring celebrated houses including Veuve Clicquot, Bollinger and Dom Pérignon, created a memorable morning experience that captured the spirit of the day perfectly.

The celebrations continued into the afternoon with a French-inspired three-course lunch inside The Manor, where guests enjoyed a refined menu accompanied by live harp music and another welcome glass of Moët & Chandon Rosé. Signature dishes included Moreton Bay Bug Agnolotti, Confit Duck and Pan-fried Red Emperor, while indulgent desserts such as Passionfruit Mille Feuille and Valrhona Chocolate Marquise concluded the experience beautifully. Following lunch, guests wandered through the estate’s manicured gardens beneath the green canopy of the hinterland, creating the perfect setting for family moments and Mother’s Day memories.
